Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I bring my phone or iPad into the IR sauna?

The beauty of infrared is that it’s completely dry with no humidity, you won’t find it hard to breathe like you would a traditional steam sauna. I do however, recommend that you use this time to disconnect from social media and the outside world and take either a book, or rest and recover without the interference of technology.

Can I use the Sauna if I am breast feeding or Pregnant?

It’s not advised to use an IR sauna during pregnancy as its raises the core temperature of your body. It also can cause more stress on you and the foetus, incense heart rate and dehydration. It is advised not to use a sauna whilst pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, there seems to be minimal information in regards to its use so discretion is advised.

Can I bring a friend or my partner?

Sure, it is a two person sauna however you will most likely have to stay seated upright as it is cosy in size. If you want to have a look at what it looks like inside, jump on the Ihealth Sauna Instagram for images. I am 5’2 and I can lay with my legs up the wall or sit with them bent or sit upright. There is also one back rest which can be nice to sit back on, as the panels are hot.

What do I wear?

Ideally, it’s best to wear bathers or be in the nude and sit on a towel.
